This template exists simply to make the crafting pages for items and blocks easier to maintain.
The concept behind this is to write the crafting recipe for each item only once, and put it in a page which can be transcluded readily.
Note that the ''':''' takes advantage of the namespace redirection, so this depends on that functionality.
The result of this is that including it in a versioned namespace produces the page in that namespace, and including it in any other namespace produces the current version's page.

Include {{tl|Crafting/page}} at the top of the page like so.
