The polarizer filter could be conveniently fastened at the front of your lens merely through tightening it in (in most cases). There is actually yet another band (typically the outer band of the filter) where you may revolve it 360 °. Check out the viewfinder while revolving the band and you will be able to observe the adjustment in effect the filter made.
