categoryRank is a property used in Mystcraft to determine which Pages to use during Age generation when filling in unspecified grammar. A categoryRank can be 0 or any positive integer. The larger the integer, the less likely the Page will be selected to satisfy a certain category of Age generation. For example, a Page with a categoryRank of 2 is slightly more likely to be chosen than a Page with a categoryRank of 3, but both of them are much more likely to be chosen than a Page with a categoryRank of 6.
