I keep my diet very simple too. I eat of variety Keto Genesis of fresh foods, and I don't eat processed foods, or other junk during my dieting days. I stick to my diet at least 5 to 6 days a week, and I have a cheat day where I will give into a bowl of ice cream, or some other indulgence. I ended up losing the 45 pounds, and I got my edge back. I feel like myself again with renewed energy and spirit.

Losing weight seems like trying to push a car up a steep hill without the engine running. It is an up hill battle that never seems to end. Try substituting whole grain products for refined grains such as white bread, cookies, cakes and pretzels. Choosing whole wheat breads and pastas, bran flakes and cakes will not only give you a much needed fiber boost but will fill you up faster as well.

Get the junk out. Take control of your surroundings. Throw out the junk in your house and stay away from restaurants that tend to side with higher calorie fast foods. Stock your kitchen with healthier snacks and meals. If you are going to a party or out to eat with friends, try to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy light snack before you go. This will give you a better chance of not overeating or eating junk foods while you are out.
